The showcase opens August 1st and will end at midnight on August 31st or when 250 submissions have been reached (whichever comes first). Go to the “Getting Started” page to learn more about creating a successful submission.
– The top 90 actors from this showcase will be able to choose the agent they would like to have a one-on-one meeting with.
– Each participating agent will be sent ALL the submissions from the showcase (regardless of placement) for review. After the showcase, all the submissions will be sent to EVERY agency in the country. (you will have a chance to opt out of this if you don’t want your submission shared with everyone).
– All actors receive at least 2 reviews of their work from the panel of industry professionals.
– All feedback will be given to all the actors, and the results will be delivered a maximum of 3 weeks after the close of the showcase.
During the meetings after the showcase, actors and the agents will be able to choose what they would like to focus on. The meetings are meant to be an introduction to the agent and actor. While there is a chance that an agent could take you on as a client after the meeting, you should not expect that outcome.

Michael always knew he wanted to work with creatives. Stemming from his days as a “child actor” gracing the cover of math books everywhere he went on to complete a double major in Multimedia and English at McMaster University and a diploma in Paralegal Studies. This led to his shadowing one of the top Music Lawyers in the country and later The Characters Talent Agency. Rising quickly from intern to Talent Agent and Manager, Michael now manages the careers of a select number of rising stars who are working in Film, Television, Theatre and in New Media and Video Games.

Emilio Salituro – Lucas Talent
Emilio Salituro is a Talent Agent / Manager at LUCAS TALENT and brings with him over 30 years of experience in the acting industry. He is a classically trained actor who trained and worked professionally in film, TV and theatre. During his acting years he also worked as a director, producer and acting coach. From 2003 to 2005, he took time off from the film Industry and moved to Shanghai to become a Business Consultant and eventually General Manager of a Million Dollar Restaurant and Live Music Lounge. Emma is an agent at the prestigious Gary Goddard Agency, working with some of the best, brightest and engaging artists in Canada. Her roster includes a diverse group of creators – writers, actors, directors, showrunners, and musicians, including Juno, Dora, Jutra, Meta and Canadian Screen Award winners. It’s not the specific medium that excites Emma, but the individual artist and the collaboration that inspires. She arrived at the Agency twelve years ago, after a successful stage management career. Before the switch, she was fortunate to work with: Mirvish Productions, Tarragon Theatre, six season at the Stratford Shakespeare Festival, Young People’s Theatre, Citadel Theatre, The Arts Club theatre and The Canadian Opera Company. Emma currently sits on the Advisory Board of George Brown and Sheridan College, and is active with TAMAC. Emma is a proud graduate of York University and the recipient of two Tyrone Guthrie awards and the Lindsay Thomas Memorial Award.
Emily Klama – Amanda Rosenthal Talent (A.R.T.)
Emily Klama (she/her) has a BA from the University of Guelph majoring in Theatre Studies and a Certificate in Entertainment Law from York University’s Osgoode Hall Law School. She has an eclectic industry background ranging from stage manager to lighting designer, sound engineer to sets head, rounding out as production coordinator for the prestigious Canadian Film Centre before joining ART in 2014. She runs the Voice and Animation Department alongside the intrepid Alex Best as well as manages her own diverse and selective film and television roster. Out of the office she volunteers with injured and endangered wildlife at the Toronto Wildlife Centre.
Stephanie Bleakley – Amanda Rosenthal Talent (A.R.T.)
Stephanie Bleakley is a Toronto based Talent Agent, dedicated to cultivating her flourishing roster. Stephanie grew up immersed in
the arts, pursuing Musical Theatre throughout her education before ultimately earning her diploma from St. Clair College. After graduating, Stephanie was drawn to the other side of the table, getting her start working for Casting Directors John Buchan and Jason Knight. This opportunity allowed Stephanie to develop her eye for talent and understanding of the biz. Lily Pritchard’s journey in the arts began with intensive training as a dancer at The National Ballet School, The School of Toronto Dance
Theatre, and Limón in New York City. Transitioning into the entertainment industry, she excelled in Commercial Casting for a decade, ascending to the role of Associate to the Casting Director. Lily’s expertise also extended to Film and TV Casting. Additionally, her passion for storytelling led her to explore Production and Stage Management, enhancing her comprehensive understanding of the industry. Dean Marshall
Montreal born Actor, Dean has been honing his craft for over 30 years in every medium this industry would let him. Best known for his recurring roles in Davinci’s Inquest and Stargate Atlantis, he has also had the privilege of recurring on Davinci’s City Hall, Intelligence, The 100, The Magicians and Superman and Lois playing the newly minted editor of the Daily Planet, Sam Foswell. Look for Dean in the upcoming Netflix series Sex/Life reccurring as Professor Sumner. Dean is a proud father of two rambunctious boys and is a laser eyed, diamond handed Hodler of Bitcoin. He encourages all to get on the lifeboat!
Anna Jane (AJ) Edmonds is producer, director, actor and creator working in Toronto and Los Angeles. With a focus on stories with an edge, she is developing a keen interest and insight into lives lived and is always looking to find ways to communicate these experiences with her own touch and finesse.
With over 15 years of experience in the entertainment and film industry AJ is credited as a Producer and Associate Producer on features such as THE DROWNSMAN, THE HERETICS, SCARECROWS and the Best Canadian Feature award winning film POOR AGNES. She has produced 70+ commercials and short films and appeared in a handful as well.
AJ is also the co-founder of Pocket Film School, an online film school that breaks down all the major elements of producing a film and makes it, well, pocket sized! She thrives off passing knowledge onto others and is a keen supporter of anyone who seeks to leave a positive impact on the world!

Steven McCarthy
Steven McCarthy is an award-winning actor, director, and musician. In 2018, McCarthy was awarded a Canadian Screen Award (CSA) for Best Guest Performance in a dramatic series for his portrayal of a dying rock singer in the first season of Mary Kills People. He’s played opposite Tatiana Maslany, Willem Dafoe, Adrien Brody, David Thewlis, Jeff Daniels, Jon Hamm and Christine Lahti. His favourite acting credits include recurring roles in The Expanse (Amazon), the Stephen King adaptation Chapelwaite (Epix), V/H/S 94, Picture Day and in the most recent season of Fargo.
McCarthy made his directorial debut with the short film, O Negative, which had its premiere at the Toronto International Film Festival and subsequently played festivals the world over before being named one of Canada’s Top Ten shorts of the year. His second directorial effort, From Across the Street and Through Two Sets of Windows, premiered at the 2018 Vancouver International Film Festival.
McCarthy holds two diplomas, one for acting and one for directing, from Montreal’s prestigious National Theatre School of Canada. He is also the lead singer and manager of the ten-piece epic funk band The ElastoCitizens and is currently a teacher and resident coach at Toronto’s Armstrong Acting Studios.
Kimberly Huie an is an award winning actor, writer and producer. Recent and memorable screen credits include SELF MADE for Netflix with Octavia Spencer and PRIVATE EYES (Ion/GlobalTV) with Jason Priestly. Kimberly’s career has spanned across Canada and the US with an extensive list of television credits. Highlights include Grey’s Anatomy, The Blacklist, Rookie Blue, CSI Miami and Andromeda. Kimberly is a graduate of the Second City Toronto Improvisation program and trained at Circle in the Square Theatre School in NYC. A love of language and laughter inspired her short film, the intervention. It has shown in Film Festivals across North America and the Caribbean and won multiple awards. Born in Jamaica, raised in Canada, Kimberly Huie came of age in France. She speaks both French and English fluently and divides her time between Toronto and New York.

Dov Mickelson is an Actor, writer and teacher based in Toronto. He has over thirty years experience as an actor on stage, film and television.

Kathleen Duborg is a director, actor, producer and educator. She is an adjunct professor of acting and directing at the University of British Columbia, acting instructor at Vancouver Film School, associate at McIlroy and Assc. and coaches independently. Artistic collaborations and extensive experience in merging performance and rehearsal practices from live theatre, screen, mocap, voice-over and dramaturgy have enhanced her investigations into physical behaviour and embodiment between actors, dancers, text, design elements and audiences. Kathleen is an award-winning actor and created ReelFast: The 48 Hour Movie Making Festival and The Cold Reading Series which endeavoured to connect writers and actors of the film and theatre communities.

Hiro Kanagawa is a Vancouver-based actor and writer. His most recent play Indian Arm received the 2017 Governor-General’s Literary Award for Drama. Other distinctions include Jessie Richardson Awards for both acting and playwriting, an Asians on Film Award, and an MFA from Simon Fraser University. He is perhaps best known for his recurring roles and guest appearances on popular American television series such as Altered Carbon, The X-Files, iZombie and Smallville and comedic turns in Best in Show and the legendary Supernatural episode Changing Channels. A sought-after script doctor and consultant, he was story editor on the critically-acclaimed Canadian series Da Vinci’s Inquest, Da Vinci’s City Hall, Intelligence, and Blackstone.
Jennifer has over 40 years’ experience as a professional actor, educator/director, and arts advocate. She has performed over 100 roles in theatre/film & TV across the country including a Jessie Award for The Trespassers by Morris Panych, a Vancouver Playhouse/ Belfry co-production. In the film/ TV world, she is especially proud of the Canadian work on Fido, Waydowntown, The War Between Us, Da Vinci’s Inquest and the series my Life as a Dog.. Originally from Toronto, Christopher has been a working professional actor for over 30+ years, performing across Canada, and the States, in predominantly musical theatre in his earlier years before moving to Vancouver in the late ‘90’s to work in a thriving film&television market. Being a dual citizen has afforded him opportunities in Los Angeles and later in New York, and now he acts, teaches, coaches and producers, sometimes virtually while making his home between NY and Vancouver, with plans to be in the UK. Selected theatre credits include Broadway: Mamma Mia (Winter Garden Theatre). Off-Broadway/Regional: Curvy Widow (Westside Theatre), Going Down Swingin’ (NYMF), Lend Me a Tenor (Hangar Theatre), The Good Life (NoHo Arts Center). Jessica Clement is a Hamilton-based actor with over 20 years of experience. Jess started as a child in commercials and day player roles and has gradually climbed her way to the big leagues. With leading roles alongside Nicolas Cage, Julianne Nicholson, Richard Gere, Bryan Cranston, and Marcia Gay Harden, her work speaks for itself. Jess has recently opened her own film acting school in Hamilton to help others hone their craft and carve their career paths. Catch her recent work in Dream Scenario, and Longing. Her upcoming movies Doin’ It and Everything’s Going to be Great, and series CROSS (Nov 14). She is being kept busy on set for Gen V season 2 this summer and fall.
