Bill Marchant is an actor, writer, producer, director and educator with over forty years of experience in the entertainment industry. Film and television credits include “Chappie”, “Godzilla” and “Volition” in addition to regular and recurring roles on such shows as “Stargate SG-1”, “DaVinci’s Inquest”, “Millennium”, “Intelligence” and “Strange Empire”. His directorial debut, the feature film “Everyone”, which he also wrote, won the Zenith D’or at the Montreal World Film Festival. Theatre goers will recognize him from appearances in local productions including “Adrift on the Nile” with Neworld Theatre and “Herr Beckman’s People” at Touchstone Theatre. As a playwright, Marchant is best known for scribing shows including “Ashes”, “Clown Elections”, “Gift of Screws” and “Pot Kettle Black”. His original play, “Blaze Orange”, won the Theatre BC prize for best full-length drama. Other award winners include his scripts “Summerteeth” for the Solo Collective Competition and “Husk” chosen for inclusion in the Clean Sheets festival by The Frank Theatre Company. Marchant has also been a teacher for the past thirty years, first as co-founder of The Company We Keep with Kate Twa and the past twenty-three years at Vancouver Film School where he currently serves as Creative Specialist and Instructor.

Daniel bacon his journey into the craft of acting in 1993 after a short stint as singer in a boy band. Yes a boy band. Over the past 23 years Daniel has amassed a resume of over 120 credits in film and tv and over 20 theatre credits. Selected credits include lead roles in the films Toxic Skies and The BFG (directed by Steven Spielberg) and recent guest star recurring roles on the television shows Somewhere Between and the upcoming Facebook Watch series Limetown. Daniel also voiced the character of Rhodey/War Machine on the multi-season animated series Iron Man: Armored Adventures. Selected Theatre credits include the lead role of Shapoor in the western Canadian premiere of Counter Offence at the Firehall Arts Centre (directed by Donna Spencer), the role of Jeremy in Coronation Voyage at the Belfry Theatre (directed by Roy Surette) and the role of Mickey in Hurly Burly at the Lyric Theatre Project (directed by Kate Twa). Daniel has also worked extensively as an audition reader for over 12 years for various casting directors including Clark & Page, Mayers & Brandstatter and Michelle Allen. His professional demeanor and strong reading skills have earned him a strong reputation for additional work on set and other various projects. Daniel has taught his ever evolving Audition Workshop to hundreds of actors for over a decade and absolutely loves the process.

Growing up in a Punjabi Sikh household in the northeast corner of British Columbia, Veenu ventured alone to what is now known as Vancouver and started her acting career in 2007. She is mindful of her privilege to live and work on the traditional unceded lands of the Musqueam, Squamish and Tsleil-Waututh First Nations. Notable TV credits include her recurring role as Prisha Dhar on Lost In Space (Netflix) and her very creepy and fun death scene on Supernatural (CW). Recent credits include Wild Cards (CW/CBC) and Allegiance (CBC). Film credits include the wry medical examiner Bella on Curious Caterer: Grilling Season (Hallmark), and Officer Reece on A Dog’s Way Home (Columbia Pictures). Steven McCarthy is an award-winning actor, director, and musician. In 2018, McCarthy was awarded a Canadian Screen Award (CSA) for Best Guest Performance in a dramatic series for his portrayal of a dying rock singer in the first season of Mary Kills People. He’s played opposite Tatiana Maslany, Willem Dafoe, Adrien Brody, David Thewlis, Jeff Daniels, Jon Hamm and Christine Lahti. His favourite acting credits include recurring roles in The Expanse (Amazon), the Stephen King adaptation Chapelwaite (Epix), V/H/S 94, Picture Day and in the most recent season of Fargo.
McCarthy made his directorial debut with the short film, O Negative, which had its premiere at the Toronto International Film Festival and subsequently played festivals the world over before being named one of Canada’s Top Ten shorts of the year. His second directorial effort, From Across the Street and Through Two Sets of Windows, premiered at the 2018 Vancouver International Film Festival.
McCarthy holds two diplomas, one for acting and one for directing, from Montreal’s prestigious National Theatre School of Canada. He is also the lead singer and manager of the ten-piece epic funk band The ElastoCitizens and is currently a teacher and resident coach at Toronto’s Armstrong Acting Studios.

Melanie Nicholls-King is a Canadian/American actress with Trini roots, best known for playing Cheryl in the HBO series, The Wire; Officer Noelle Williams in the ABC series, Rookie Blue and recently, Hazel LaCroix, in the beloved Netflix series, Anne with an E. She can also be seen in three of the series in the Law & Order franchise, Orphan Black, The Week Of with Adam Sandler and Chris Rock, Star Trek: Discovery and Little Fires Everywhere to name a few. Upcoming, she can be seen in Showtime’s Your Honor with Bryan Cranston.

Fuad Ahmed is a graduate of the Canadian Film Centre’s Actors Conservatory and a recipient of REEL Canada’s RBC Emerging Artist Award. Anna Jane (AJ) Edmonds is producer, director, actor and creator working in Toronto and Los Angeles. With a focus on stories with an edge, she is developing a keen interest and insight into lives lived and is always looking to find ways to communicate these experiences with her own touch and finesse.

With over 15 years of experience in the entertainment and film industry AJ is credited as a Producer and Associate Producer on features such as THE DROWNSMAN, THE HERETICS, SCARECROWS and the Best Canadian Feature award winning film POOR AGNES. She has produced 70+ commercials and short films and appeared in a handful as well.

Christopher Shyer Originally from Toronto, Christopher has been a working professional actor for over 30+ years, performing across Canada, and the States, in predominantly musical theatre in his earlier years before moving to Vancouver in the late ‘90’s to work in a thriving film&television market. Being a dual citizen has afforded him opportunities in Los Angeles and later in New York, and now he acts, teaches, coaches and producers, sometimes virtually while making his home between NY and Vancouver, with plans to be in the UK. Brooke Palsson is an actor, writer, musician, and graduate of Norman Jewison’s prestigious Canadian Film Centre (Actors Conservatory 2013-2014). The Winnipeg native moved to Toronto to further pursue her film/tv career after her Canadian Comedy Award-winning role in HBO hit series, “Less Than Kind”.Known internationally for her work as leading roles in both the aforementioned “LTK” and Netflix series “Between”, Brooke has recently added her Juno nominated album “Midnight” to her growing list of accomplishments. TV Credits include “Flashpoint”, “Saving Hope”, “Todd and the Book of Pure Evil”, “Orphan Black”, “Rookie Blue”, and “Lost & Found Music Studios”.
